How do you move a factory to Russia?

°ÄÃÅÌØÂëÍõ is the go-to logistics firm for transports to Russia and Eastern Europe. Even in our work for Danone, our experience was crucial.

Danone products are literally on everyone’s lips. In order to produce their wide range of dairy products, from yogurt to kefir, the world-famous food company relies on modern processing equipment and powerful technology. During the course of about 5 years, °ÄÃÅÌØÂëÍõ delivered a wide range of wares – from pipes and other tubing components to measuring instruments, electrical and electronic components, all the way to automation devices – for a Danone plant in Russia. The timing for the arrival of the individual components was critical because, depending on the construction phase, it was crucial that certain items arrive simultaneously at the factory in Russia. For transporting the cargo from France to the Russian plant, we also had to employ different types of trucks. By anticipating and carefully planning the documents that might be necessary, we were effectively able to prevent delays.

  1. The Mission
Delivery of a broad array of production equipment and facility components from France to a processing plant in Russia.
  2. The Challenge
DThe timing factor was decisive: it was crucial that all the components of a particular delivery arrive simultaneously at the Russian plant.
  3. Our Solution
For delivery of the non-uniform cargo, we used different types of trucks. All formalities with Russian customs were completed in one go.
